Pontus Alv picks up where his Swedish brand left off with their collaborative Converse Jack Purcell in 2017; embarking on his first Nike footwear project with the AIR TRAINER 1 and BLAZER LOW. The pack is what core skate dreams are made of; with the rarely seen Bo Jackson approved Air Trainer 1 making an appearance in a bright royal blue, white and black leather and suede uppers that feature dual branded tongues and “POLAR” branded midfoot straps. The Blazer Low works an off-white suede upper with bright royal blue Swooshes, POLAR embroidery on the back heel, and the same dual branded logo seen on the accompanying Air Trainer 1. If you look a little closer you’ll see that it that borrows elements from other Nike models; including a Bruin tongue, the sole from Grant Taylor’s signature Blazer, and Air Max 1 eyelets.
