A First Look: the Nike SB x Civilist Dunk Low Celebrates Berlin’s Legendary Skate Shop

The NIKE SB X CIVILIST DUNK LOW continues the series of skate shop collaboration releases, this time taking a trip to Berlin to bump knucks with the Civilist guys.

The history of the SB Dunk is one of Nike’s greatest success stories. One of the best shoes to ever be reformatted and repurposed, the Dunk might have started life as a basketball design – the name gives it away – but by beefing up the tongue and the collar and then adding Zoom Air insoles, it became a world-class skate shoe. Upon its debut in 2002, the SB Dunk was massively successful, setting the foundations for some of the greatest collaboration projects ever created. This special collaboration with the legendary Civilist skate shop in Berlin, the Dunk Low gets a Supreme-styled makeover, with copious amounts of elephant print leather and a simple white-and-black colourway.
