The Nike SB x Isle Skateboards Blazer is Available Now

The NIKE SB X ISLE SKATEBOARDS BLAZER brings Isle’s artistic stylings to the classic Blazer SB this spring.

With three of Isle’s skate team riding for Nike SB – Nick Jensen, Chris Jones and Casper Brooker – a collaborative release between the two brands makes perfect sense. Preliminary discussions took place at the start of 2019, eventually leading to the classic Blazer SB being selected as the best canvas to work with. And ‘canvas’ is very much the right word here: the lateral sides of the Blazer feature an eye-catching canvas patch which features a photographic printing process called cyanotype. Isle utilised this same experimental image-making process on their previous board graphics, such as on 2016’s ‘Exposure’ collection. Custom footbed artwork and a logo swap-out for the Isle branding keeps things collaborative throughout the shoe. If you’re looking for something smart yet a little different, then this could be the one for you.
