Nike Mag – Raffle at Niketown London

This weekend – SATURDAY 15 OCTOBER & SUNDAY 16 OCTOBER – Niketown London will be open to all consumers to enter the raffle to win ONE pair of the auto-lacing NIKE MAG editions, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.

Nike reinvented the conventional lacing system and integrated it into a unique design that went on to become an enduring beacon of popular culture. Since Marty and the Doc travelled to Oct 21 2015 in Back To The Future Part II, many of us have been patiently awaiting the day when this concept would become reality.

In 2011, Nike raised awareness and millions in funds to aid in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. In 2015, Nike hand delivered the first adaptive auto-lacing Nike Mag shoes to Michael J. Fox himself, captivating millions of us as we watched him demonstrate the technology on TV. In 2016, the future is now. As Nike, Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Parker, put it, “We started creating something for fiction and we turned it into fact, inventing a new technology that will benefit all athletes“.
