NIKE LUNARCHARGE ESSENTIAL TRIPLE BLACK

The NIKE LUNARCHARGE ESSENTIAL TRIPLE BLACK brings stealth-mode styling to the Swoosh’s latest silhouette.

The LunarCharge caused a commotion when the first colourway was released last month, and this new blacked-out iteration looks set to be even more popular (judging from what we’ve seen recently, ‘Triple Black’ really is the new black). Though it’s a brand-new style, the shoe takes inspiration from five of Nike’s previous icons: the streamlined shape, neoprene material, eye stays, internal bootie construction and Lunarlon sole unit are borrowed from the Air Current, Air Flow, Air Max 90, Air Presto and LunarEpic respectively. But you don’t have to be a trainer historian to appreciate the final result, which combines exceptional comfort with a sleek, futuristic aesthetic that works particularly well in this new all-black colourway with its vivid green outsole accents. As Wednesday Addams said, “I’ll stop wearing black when they invent a darker colour.”

To showcase the new release, we shot the shoe in a stark urban environment to complement its future-utility aesthetic. Take a look at our photos below, and shop the NIKE LUNARCHARGE ESSENTIAL TRIPLE BLACK when it drops tomorrow FRIDAY 9 DECEMBER by clicking on the banner…
