Originally a model from Nike’s inimitable All Conditions Gear line, the KMTR made a return this year without the ACG swing tag, recently dropping in a monochrome black and white palette, and teased as a NikeLab iteration in either Bordeaux or University Gold. Keeping up the silhouette’s current streak, the model is set to make another appearance in the coming weeks with this military khaki inspired “Sequoia” option.

Designed by Errolson Hugh, the laceless design definitely treads towards the daring style, pairing up a utilitarian strap and buckle fastening with a drawstring toggle to the heel to offer an adjustable fit. Inspired by paper, the minimal olive green uppers are constructed of weatherproof nylon with a perfectly matched gum midsole. Bonus detailing comes in the form of 3M reflective to the heel and branded hits around the tongue.

Retaining its sense of ACG purpose, the model aims to position itself as a trustworthy footwear option for everyday commuters…and we think it succeeds.
