Seoul Food: the Nike x Kasina Dunk Low References City Living and Transport in Korea

The NIKE X KASINA DUNK LOW finds Korea’s most highly-respected skater owned skate store collaborating on two new Dunk Low colourways.

Joining forces with Nike, Korea’s premier skate store Kasina has come a long way from their humble beginnings, right through to opening multiple locations throughout Seoul. Originally founded in 1997 by former pro skateboarder EunHyuk Lee, the Kasina Dunk draws inspiration from travelling through Korea, with the Neptune Green version referencing the Gyeongbu Expressway – the main highway that joins Busan and Seoul – whilst the Neptune Blue colourway takes its theming from city transportation, referencing the local bus steering wheels in the form of a unique hangtag. Kasina branding appears on the heel and inside the tongue, with custom printed tissue that references the country’s road signage to be found inside the shoebox.

The NIKE X KASINA DUNK LOW in Neptune Green drops exclusively at KASINA on FRIDAY 18 SEPTEMBER: the Industrial Blue edition gets a wider release throughout Asia a week later on FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER. A global release date remains unconfirmed at the moment, but watch this space for more news. Shop the latest releases at NIKE via the banner below in the meantime.
