Nike Embraces Villain Vibes with the Air Max 95 'Joker'


Who remembers back in 2025 when the popular Nike Air Max 95 'Batman' design made waves? Nike is now presenting us with his probably most famous opponent! Therefore, they are tapping into one of pop culture’s most iconic colour palettes for their latest Air Max 95 release. Dubbed the 'Joker', this upcoming iteration gives the classic 1995 runner a dark, comic-inspired aesthetic that echoes the infamous Gotham villain.

A Closer Look at the Air Max 95 'Joker'…

The design builds on the silhouette’s signature layered mesh and leather upper, utilizing a dark grey and black base to set a moody tone. Striking pops of vibrant purple and neon green cut through the dark overlays, detailing the lace loops, tongue branding, and visible Air units underfoot.

White branding accents and a clean black midsole tie the contrasting hues together, striking a balance between bold storytelling and wearable design.

Equipped with classic heel and forefoot Air cushioning, the pair stays true to the functional comfort that defined Sergio Lozano’s original design over three decades ago.
