The Nike Air VaporMax was designed to fulfill the mission to ‘provide lightweight, consistent cushioning that lasts’: a concept first started by the original Air Max model way back in 1987. The research and development resulted in this remarkable design, which has taken the world by storm since its debut. The new VaporMax 2.0 is hiding just around the corner in anticipation of this year’s Air Max Day, but when colours such as this Anthracite/Black/Rush Orange edition are still astounding us, it shows that the original VaporMax design shouldn’t be ignored. Spring might be on the horizon (somewhere), but for now and while the weather is best suited to darker colours, this release should tick the boxes for many of us.
