Nike Air Max 1 Chili 2.0 | Coming in Hot

Fresh out of the 2003 archives, Nike revives another Tinkerfield classic with the Nike Air Max 1 Chili 2.0. Returning 20 years after its arrival (in line with the 35th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 1), this remodelling flaunts a similar colour scheme to its OG predecessor with some light contemporary adjustments, predicted to be a hit with old and new sneakerheads alike. 

Like every iteration of the Nike Air Max 1, distinctive DNA and performance attributes make up core defining elements. The OG Nike Air Max 1 Chili quickly became a hyped release during its time, establishing itself as a highly sought-after collectors item. Now back for a smoking hot rendition, we have a close-up look as Nike’s Chili 2.0 spotlighting vibrant hues across a sleek and solid foundation.

Following the lead of the OG Chili, the 2.0 is based with a white breathable mesh adorned by grey and black leather overlays. Utilising a lighter, softer grey hue than the original, a vibrant red Swoosh contrasts the otherwise subdued colour palette. This same red is carried throughout the models accents, within the Air Max tongue and insole branding, eyelets and Air bubble. A crisp white midsole compliments minty fresh laces, concluding this spicy pair of kicks.
