This luxurious version of the classic silhouette from 1989 has one foot on the basketball court and the other in the royal court. All the familiar details that raised this shoe to icon status are still in effect, but the instantly-recognisable upper is elevated by a tonal combination of black suede, mesh netting and a leather heel tab that moves it out of the sports arena and into more luxurious territory. Upping the aristocratic ante even further, this royal colour-up has been blessed with a lavish touch of metallic gold at the eyelets, heel branding and tongue patch. Meanwhile a crisp, sporty white midsole offsets the dark upper and ensures that the shoe never strays too far from its on-court origins.
