The NIKE AIR FORCE 1 07 LV8 HIMALAYAN RHUBARB joins the foliage-focused Plant Dye collection, which takes sustainable and natural colouring methods as a theme. This particular AF1 highlights the Himalayan rhubarb – a plant that is used to dye materials a rich yellow/tan colour. The descriptive text on the heel tab states that the plant is found in India, Korea and China and that the petal of the flower is the part that is used in the dyeing process. Aside from the undeniably worthy campaign, this Air Force 1 is a very agreeable design, with the natural cork and twill elements contrasting well against the clean white uppers.
