It’s Luck of the Draw with the New Balance Sample_Lab 1530x + 1500x Pack

The NEW BALANCE SAMPLE_LAB 1530X + 1500X pack features an updated edition of the iconic 1500 alongside the newer 1530, both constructed using randomised colours and materials for a truly unique experience.

Originally launched as a premium, top-tier running shoe in 1989, the NB 1500 came from the mind and hands of the legendary Steven Smith and has stood the test of time well. As one of the most recognisable shoes in the New Balance line-up, the 1500 is celebrating its 30th birthday this year with a variety of special releases. Updated in several ways, but still maintaining the essence of the original design, the 1500x and 1530x here form part of the new Sample_Lab pack: a limited edition series, released in very small numbers and created using special materials and fabric from the NB archives. Presented in a sealed bag – you won’t know which colourway you receive until you crack the seal – these are limited to 1200 pairs worldwide and are delivered in a selection of vibrant colour combinations. Aside from the colours and materials, the construction across both models is typical of the New Balance levels of quality: everything looks just as premium today as it did when the 1500 first dropped 30 years ago…
