The forthcoming MITA X ADIDAS CONSORTIUM CAGES AND COORDINATES PACK includes a brand new addition to the NMD range presented alongside an updated spin on a timeless classic.

Meeting again for the first time since 2016, Tokyo-based retailer and powerhouse mita return to work with the Three Stripes, this time assisting them to introduce a face into the NMD line-up, the NMD TS1 PKI. A souped-up sock-fit model, it shares a similar aesthetic to the CS1 but differentiates its look with a lower cut collar, finished with branded pulls to both the heel and exposed tongue. The upper is also covered in a glossy crossover grid pattern that mirrors the cages used to display sneakers in mita’s store, housed atop a white Boost midsole featuring colourful plugs and a transparent icy outsole.

The brand new option is joined by a failsafe classic, the STAN SMITH, which appears in black leather uppers printed with the midfoot hosting the model’s name, whilst the back heel sports tech specifications in a contrasting white print, which on a closer inspection turn out to be the coordinates of mita’s Tokyo store and the Three Stripes HQ in Germany. A zipper also runs alongside the lacing, further updating its timeless appearance, rounding off this inventive duo from the pair.
