Make way for the A Ma Maniére x Jordan Air Ship “White/Black”

Make way for the A Ma Maniére x Jordan Air Ship “White/Black”, an effortlessly cool model that draws visual reference to the iconic basketball silhouettes of the 80s. Launching as an iteration of the Jordan Air Ship (as opposed to the Nike Air Ship), this sleek model is used as a tool to communicate the 12 Maniére Values – integral morals in which A Ma Maniére base the heart of their work. In an abstract, monochrome campaign via the brand’s instagram, the first value of ‘Understanding The Why’ takes shape in a cryptic film that advertises the collaborative Jordan partnership.

This collaboration is not the first time we’ve seen A Ma Maniére and Jumpman team up, with the AMM Air Jordan 12 debuting earlier this year and the AMM Air Jordan 4 in 2022. As well as the Air Ship, the drop will see the release of the Jordan 365 Essentials capsule collection; refined basics with endlessly versatile styling potential. 

The colourway of these timeless kicks does exactly what it says on the tin. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of basketball sneakers, the iteration reveals a pristine “White” leather base, abruptly contrasted by consistent “Black” accents throughout. The jet black detailing adopts the Swoosh, collar panel, tongue, heel tab and outsole, giving the model a timeless edge that’s extremely hard to dislike. A Ma Maniére branding sits proudly on the heel, whilst a branded silver tongue tag gives a premium finishing touch. And of course, conventional Nike Air branding doesn’t go a miss, additionally landing on the tongue and heel tab. 

The A Ma Maniére x Jordan Air Ship “White/Black” is due to drop on the 3RD AUGUST 2023 via AMM. However, a UK/Europe release date has not yet been confirmed by the duo. While we wait for more info, check out the previous Jordan Air Ship drops via the banner below…
