Le Coq Sportif Dynactif 90s Outdoor – A First Look

The LE COQ SPORTIF DYNACTIF 90s OUTDOOR pack is the first release from the French brand’s runner range since its 25th anniversary capsule drop in the spring.

There are three models in the 90s Outdoor pack: the LCS R1000, LCS TH and LCS R800 (pictured). As the name suggests, all come in ’90s-style colours and are made with high quality materials, and are designed with an outdoors-inspired look. They each have the 25th anniversary logo on the tongues. The LCS TH in particular is a new look for Dynactif this season, reinterpreting some of Le Coq Sportif’s tennis shoes from the period, and is constructed from a combination of premium suede and leather. Le Coq Sportif has given us a close look at the R800, which you can see in the pix is a handsome tonal blue number, with orange/mango accents such as the eyelets, forefoot and mixed with the blue on the laces. The 90s Outdoor pack updates the R1000 and R8000, following their reintroduction earlier in the year when the brand reintroduce the lauded silhouettes to celebrate Dynactif’s launch in 1991. Back in the day, the runner shoes introduced a “dual density” midsole technology, which added cushioning at the back and propulsion at the front, heightening athletic performance.
