KENZO’s Influence on the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20

KENZO and ASICS, a Japanese sports company, have teamed together for an eye-catching partnership. Three unique colourways of the GEL-KAYANO 20 model will be part of the KENZO x ASICS pack. This is NIGO’s first collaboration with sneakers since he became creative director two years ago.

The pack, crafted under the design guidance of NIGO, pays homage to the lively and storied history of KENZO. The initial colour variant, ‘Multicolour,’ showcases a dynamic blend of hues inspired by national flags and aligns with KENZO’s exploration theme.

The remaining two pairs feature a tiger-print base, drawing inspiration from the iconic tiger pattern synonymous with the brand. In the ‘Off White’ colorway, this pattern manifests in white and grey, adorned with opulent gold and silver embellishments. The second colour scheme distinguishes itself with faux fur detailing and a bold blue-green colour palette.
