hanon x WeSC Capsule Collection – Release Info

The HANON X WESC CAPSULE COLLECTION sees the two teams from the northern hemisphere work together on a performance and utility inspired line of apparel and footwear.

HANON is situated on the edge of the North Sea in the city of Aberdeen, which provides the inspiration for the collection, with its landscape built almost entirely from granite and an ever-changing Scottish climate. The collection has been manufactured in Europe, up-specced by WESC, and includes an Italian melton wool coach jacket, Portuguese shirting and jersey and a tech inspired Ghillie brogue. Water resistant suedes, reflective laces and translucent prints throughout the line reference the climate, whilst the greyscale colour palette mirrors the winter gloom and heavy weather experienced in both of the brands’ relative homelands – Sweden and Scotland. Streetwear references are detailed throughout the line, with military inspired Swedish and Scottish flag patches, dual branded logo tees, weather resistant 5 panel caps and a classic Watchman beanie. Additional reference points to the Scottish store’s locale feature by way of a grey scaled flannel shirt, in the tartan of Aberdeen, whilst red accents, the official colour of the city, can be seen throughout the collection. This is a great looking collection, with some really nice pieces in it, that should have a little something for everyone… we approve.
