France just gained another masterpiece to add to its collection, this time in the form of FOOTPATROL PARIS. Yes, you read it right: London’s finest establishment has opened a brand-new second location, meaning that there’s yet another reason to go and visit the City of Love this summer.

Only a foolish person would go to London and not pass by the hallowed doors of Footpatrol. With over 15 years of flawless reputation behind them, the FP name is well-respected across the globe and as Paris remains one of the places to be, this plan to open a Parisian counterpart makes a lot of sense. The new store has been designed by Counterfeit Studios and utilises a muted grey palette and exposed brickwork, with a fresh chevron-style ceiling created as an abstract nod to the London store’s ‘hut’ theme. If you were wondering about the stock, then you have nothing to fear: the same expertly-curated selection of brands and products will be also available in the new store. So with plenty of homegrown familiarity present, what new things are in store? Well, one of the most interesting and innovative elements has to be the new interactive and shoppable kiosk, which brings the physical to the digital in one seamless move. The infinity-style neon gas mask updates the classic Footpatrol branding cleverly, treading the line between recognisable and innovative in one eye-catching feature. As the finishing coup de grâce, there’s a brand new site to accompany the store and a collection of new Footpatrol Paris apparel to celebrate the new location.

We can’t think of a better way to kick off the opening day than with the launch of the NIKE AIR MAX 97/BW SKEPTA: a release that finds London’s finest grime artist paying homage to Paris with a smart hybrid Air Max design. For the opening weekend, there was a special Skepta installation to ensure that everyone knew that London was most definitely in the house.
