Cue The Applause… the Converse x Stüssy Chuck 70 8-Ball is Back

Re-releasing as part of Converse’s December Launch Line-up of hot releases and hyped restocks, the collaborative Converse x Stüssy Chuck 70 8-Ball returns. Originally landing last summer in June 2022, the highly regarded streetwear giant and footwear powerhouse joined forces across two Converse classics. However, this is not the first collaboration we’ve seen from the alliance of course, with joint endeavours dating all the way back to 2015. It’s safe to say that these influential brands know how to produce a cold shoe, and this Chuck 70 is certainly no exception. Let’s take a closer look at this collaborative gem…

A Closer Look at the Converse x Stüssy 70 8-Ball…

Paying homage to both legendary brands, the offering at hand sees vintage nostalgia seamlessly executed throughout this refined model. Donning a blue hairy suede exterior that almost resembles that of denim fabric, the kicks opt for a simple-but-effective approach. The distinctive Stüssy 8-ball graphic adorns the ‘90s inspired upper – a visual representation of the iconic brand history within underground street culture. Further supporting the retro persona, unvarnished foxing takes us back to the OG Chucks design. 

Although these kicks appear notably refined, the details are what truly make these kicks special. Looking towards the interior, a sail woven inner tongue and complimentary insole adds a unique touch to the silhouette. Additionally within the inner, a hidden signature Chuck Taylor ankle patch injects exclusivity into the model, supported by the custom Stüssy “All Star” label on the external tongue.
