Head Back to the ’80s with the ASICS Tiger x WOEI GEL-Lyte III Vintage Nylon

The ASICS TIGER x WOEI GEL-LYTE III ‘VINTAGE NYLON’ unites the two forces once again, this time on a premium edition of the much-loved GL-III model.

In order to mark their 10th anniversary, legendary Dutch store WOEI have collaborated with ASICS on this flashy rendition of the GEL-Lyte III, as utilised back on their 5th anniversary. The shoe’s insides and toe-box feature nylon sections, with contrasting smooth suede panels to off-set the shininess. Featuring alternate colours on the shoe’s medial and lateral sides, the tasteful Light Grey and Apricot Nectar colour scheme takes us back to the era of pastel coloured shell suits and athletic leisure wear. As you’d expect, the signature split tongue is there, featuring a smart suede patch and WOEI branding, with two different sets of laces to finish the package off. The GL-III remains one of the most popular ASICS shoes, with good reason – and this might just be one of the nicest colourways we’ve seen yet.
