ASICS Tiger Gel Saga Purple and Black – A First Look

The ASICS TIGER GEL SAGA PURPLE AND BLACK takes inspiration from the colours and designs of ’90s outdoor apparel.

Similar to the Dark Blue and Grey version that we previewed a couple of days ago (which you can view here), these feature a mesh base resting underneath a matching suede toe wrap and lace stay, but this time in purple, which is contrasted by black on the other overlays. Grey formstripes add some more contrast, whilst hits of neon pink on the branding add some pop. An off-white midsole allows the upper to hold your attention, with the addition of some black speckling adding some detail and tying in with the upper and outsole. This is a pretty bold look for the GEL SAGA, but we definitely approve of the ’90s vibe.
