Air Jordan 10 Retro London – Release Info

The AIR JORDAN 10 RETRO “LONDON” follows the recent Los Angeles, Chicago and Rio releases as the newest addition to the City Series Pack.

Whilst Michael Jordan took some time out from basketball back when the Jordan 9 first dropped, his signature line with Nike continued with great success: as far as the brand and the fans were concerned, it was business as usual. The subsequent Air Jordan 10 became a tribute to Jordan’s successes, referencing his many achievements on the sole. This special edition continues the the City Series Pack, with features that refer specifically to London. The tonal grey upper represents one of London’s nicknames, “The Big Smoke.” This nickname was given to the city due to the 1950’s era when London residents would use coal fires to warm their homes. The smoke, combined with fog, covered the London sky with varying tones of grey, utilised perfectly on the upper of this retro. Luxurious gold accents have been added throughout the shoe – most notably on the stitched “LDN” – providing a regal look for a much-loved city.
