Air Jordan 1 High OG Royal Reimagined

Landing as part of Jumpman’s ‘Reimagined’ series, the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 1 High OG Royal Reimagined is finally on the horizon. After months and months of rumours and leaks, the progressive kicks are just weeks away from sitting proudly on your top shelf. Based off of the ‘85 predecessor, this remodelling combines the timeless essence of the AJ1 with a contemporary twist.

Focussing on fine-tuning retro models into innovative iterations, the capsule hosts some of Michael Jordan’s OG sneakers. Starting off with the reimagining of the AJ3 Retro ‘White Cement’ earlier this year, Jumpman is now turning their attention to the Air Jordan 1 High OG. When you think of the AJ1, your mind likely goes to attractive colour blocking and leather panelling. While the attractive colourful blocking still reigns strong, leather textiles are swapped out for a suede composition. 

The ‘Varsity Royal’ hue draws immediate attention within the lower heel overlay, collar, toe box and Swoosh, working atop a black base. Keeping things aligned with the original ever-so-slightly, the tongue maintains a nylon material garnished with Nike Air branding. Looking towards the lower sector of the sneaker, a crisp white model keeps things solid.
