The ADIDAS ORIGINALS X SPEZIAL CAPSULE COLLECTION is the next step in the Spezial journey, as Gary Aspden and friends take you on a trip through the adidas archive. Last year saw the first part of the Spezials exhibition and people travelled from afar to witness one of the most incredible trainer exhibitions ever. A celebration of all things adidas, the exhibition showcased a vast collection of archive silhouettes, with many borrowed from the personal collections of some of the brand’s most passionate fans.

Following the huge success of the first exhibition, Aspden has continued to work with the adidas archive team for this new capsule collection, borne from his passion for the Three Stripes. For this special release, Aspden has both curated and designed a range of premium clothing that focuses on the brand’s leisurewear range. There are a variety of archive silhouettes, combining original pieces with rare and sought-after special editions, with details taken from the personal collections of the most die hard adidas fans. This is demonstrated with a new range of apparel, redesigned in premium fabrics and contemporary styles – and we think it’s flawlessly executed.
