Old Meets New for the adidas Consortium x SLAM JAM Pack

Italy’s OG cross-pollinators of streetwear and high fashion join forces with the 3-stripes for the ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X SLAM JAM PACK.

Founded three decades ago by Luca Benini in Ferrara, north Italy, SLAM JAM has kept a firm finger on streetwear’s pulse, consistently bringing an expertly curated amalgamation of sportswear and high fashion to the country since its inception. The store’s latest collaboration welcomes adidas’ Consortium division to the fore, working on a footwear duo consisting of the timeless SUPERSTAR and the recently introduced P.O.D. S3.1 model.

Rewinding back to the ‘80s, the Superstar is decked out in a white leather upper with the same perforated 3-stripe branding seen on the Stan Smith, which is finished with the silhouette’s trademark shell toe. Finally, the “Point of Deflection” tooled model works a neoprene and soft leather upper in a clean white and cream palette, with darker shades adding contrast to the heel tab, lacing, and exposed tongue.
