Following numerous rumours and leaks, we finally have confirmation of the highly-anticipated A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 offerings.

Set to land alongside a short film titled ‘Still We Rise’, this collaboration delivers excellence beyond just the sneakers. Exploring the individualism within Black communities through crisp visuals, the film draws inspiration from the words of James Baldwin and Maya Angelou. James Whitner, owner of A Ma Maniére, shares that “Black identity is not a monolith and the Black experience isn’t uniform”. 

“All our previous stories led into this moment, building this first chapter we now bring to a close by opening our arms out to the world to bring us all in, across our communities, the diaspora and the world to celebrate unity and culture – but also the one common experience we all have: being desired for your culture, never being told that you belong, but still showing up to do the work – from dusk till dawn.”

These kicks are locked and loaded ready for those smart casual occasions where pristine footwear is a must. Arriving in palettes ‘Dusk’ and ‘Dawn’, these collaborative AJ5’s boast a sophisticated construction of premium suede, expressing a regal flair. Flaunting contrasting light and dark uppers, both kicks feature A Ma Maniére badging within the tongue and outsole. Incorporating AMA’s own creative stamp, a custom monogram cage and jacquard patterned liner adorn the exterior. Looking towards the lower, a translucent outsole grounds the model, bringing another layer of dynamic edge.
