The creator of the Japanese fashion brand Sacai, Chitose Abe, has revealed plans to work with Jean Paul Gaultier once more. Fans of Abe's work for Nike are more enthusiastic by the Sacai Magmascape, which was initially hinted at during Paris Fashion Week, even though the high-fashion connection is intriguing.
The last collections of 2023, which include Abe's outdoor cooperation, are being sent to stores. The sneaker's hybrid design, which combines elements of the Air Footscape and Air Magma, has been reinterpreted in two more colour schemes: 'Black' and 'Light British Tan.' The partnership maintains the essence of the ergonomic running shoe while updating its sole unit to match previous hiking designs from Nike.
Sacai's idea gains a more rough appeal when the Nike Air Magma boot contributes its collar, transforming the low-profile base into a high-top design. The 'Varsity Royal' pair has the strongest resemblance to Sacai's inspiration out of the three colour schemes; the Nike Air Footscape made its debut in a combination of blue, grey, black, and white in the mid-1990s.
