As 2023 comes to a close, the final collections are heading to retailers, including Abe's outdoorsy collaboration. The hybrid design of the sneaker - part Air Footscape, part Air Magma - has been reimagined in two other different colour schemes: 'Black’ and 'Light British Tan’. 

The collaboration preserves the ergonomic running sneaker's DNA while reworking its sole unit to fall in line with Nike's hiking silhouettes of the past. The Nike Air Magma boot lends its collar to Sacai's project, injecting a more rugged aesthetic while turning the low-profile base into a high-top design. 

Of the three colour schemes, the 'Varsity Royal' pair draws the most obvious connection to Sacai's muse, as the Nike Air Footscape debuted in a mix of blue, grey, black, and white in the mid-1990s.
