Puma have released a collaborate Pokémon collection based on the original starter Pokémon from Gen 1, namely Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. These Kanto-based Pokémon dress five different sneakers, with Pikachu’s likeness seen on both the RS-X and Rider FV, Bulbasaur’s on the Rider FV, Charmander’s on the Slipstream Lo, and Squirtle’s on the Suede. 

The Pokémon x Puma Suede 'Squirtle' (387326-01) takes on the blue colour scheme of its namesake, with light blue suede overlapped by light grey, contrasting ocean blue laces and heel tab, and an icy blue translucent sole. Additional touches include Squirtle’s face featured on the tongue tab, the Pokédex number printed on the inside of the tongue, and a water elemental symbol on the heel tab. A Squirtle charm is also attached to the sneaker.
