Former athlete Olivier Bernhard started On, a Swiss running sneaker business, in his effort to create a sneaker that gives a distinct running feeling. Bernhard experimented with garden hose sections, which he bonded to the outsole of his prototype.

The sensation of walking on clouds prompted Caspar Coppetti and David Allemann to join Bernhard's team in 2010. The three wanted to develop the best-performing sneaker ever, with gentle landings and tremendous push-offs.

Today, On sells a broad variety of sneakers made with the most advanced technology developed in Switzerland. Their unique style has a pink top, a white midsole, and striking black embellishments on the heel, laces, and inside padding.
