An extension of the "Aunt Pearl" collection, the Nike Zoom KD 3 'Aunt Pearl' features Flywire, leather, and mesh.

A darker shade of pink is used for the laces and inner lining. The heel features a tribute to Aunt Pearl and basketball coach Kay Yow, who battled cancer. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund has been supported through previous 'Aunt Pearl' models.

The left shoe's tongue has been redesigned to feature the logo. In addition to its white midsole and semi-transparent outsole, the Nike Zoom KD 3 comes in a special packaging.
