Tinker Hatfield designed the Nike Air Max 90, which launched in 1990 as the Air Max 3 and was only later renamed after its launch year. Compared with the Air Max 1, the model shows off a larger window onto its Air unit, and that unit holds encapsulated pressurised air. The Vintage Green pair is built from a mesh upper with overlays, a textile lining and a rubber sole.
