In homage to the 1970s "Be True to Your School" ad, Nike has introduced the "Be True to Her School" series to promote women's sports. Launching in 2024, the new line will have subdued purple hues and a message that empowers female athletes via footwear and messaging.

The newest piece in the series, the Cosmic Unity 3, was created in close consultation with elite female basketball players like A'ja Wilson. The "Be True" slogan is printed on the insoles of the sneaker, which has a complete purple pattern. As with the other Cosmic Unity models, this one places a great emphasis on sustainability.

The series honours female athletes and serves as an inspiration for the next generations of female athletes.
