Nike uses the pineapple as the theme for a pack of five sneakers which are all inspired by this exotic piece of fruit. This pack of famous Nike sneakers is called the 'Happy Pineapple' pack. This Air Max 90 is also part of the pack. 

The base of the sneaker comes in a cream-colored canvas, seen here on the mudguard and collar of the shoe. The Swoosh comes in a caramel brown colour and is made from recycled pineapple twill, as is the overlay at the back. Soft shades of pink and lime alternate on the lace eyelets, AIR cassettes and Air Max panel. Here, the white midsole contrasts at its best with the dark brown Nike Grind outsole. On the tongue, a smiling pineapple features. The embroidered numbers on the toebox refer to the supermarket code for organic pineapples.
