Nike is well-known for augmenting its most popular styles with Gore-Tex weather-resistant technology. The Air Max 90, the most recent addition to the co-branded line, is one of the iconic Nike designs that has received this treatment.

Tinker Hatfield produced the design, which is wrapped in precise monochromatic. The base layer is comprised of pitch-dark grey ballistic mesh, with the surrounding leather overlays having a somewhat lighter tone.

The greyscale influence extends to the midsole and inner lining, while the top overlay and laces are knocked out by a concussive force of jet-black before landing at the heel counter and the mid-foot'sGore-Texmarking.
