As a follow-up to the many Air Max 1s that were released in 2023, the Nike Air Max 1 WMNS 'Malachite' appeared in 2024. It seems Nike had a taste for the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette after the re-release of the 'Big Bubble' during Air Max Day 2023, releasing one colorway after another, including the 'Malachite'.

This colorway is similar to the 'Hunter Green' colorway from 2020, but uses a slightly brighter shade of green. The upper is made of white mesh. Overlays of light gray and dark green give the pair a fresh look. Nike Air's logo can be found on the tongue. As this is a WMNS release, only women's sizes are available.
