Inspired by Mexican tradition, the Nike Air Max 1 'Somos Familia' presents an appealing design in an orange and yellow colour scheme. The canvas upper features a 'Lemon Wash' base with 'Mantra Orange' overlays on the vamp and heel. Suede orange leather covers the medial where the yellow leather Swoosh comes stitched on the sneaker. The orange mudguard comes accessorised with marigolds graphics all throughout, referencing the Mexican tradition of paving the way of the dead back to life. The tongue tag features the 'Air Max 1' logo leaving the rest of the shoe dressed in the signature 'Somos Familia' (We are family) logo on the heel and insole. A yellow midsole paired with a glow-in-the-dark outsole completes the design, the phosphorescent material further emphasising the lightning of the way back amongst the living. 

The sneaker comes in a special edition box, coloured in the same hues of orange and yellow. An Air Jordan 1, Air Force 1 and Dunk High designs are also features in the 'Somos Familia' collection.
