The Air Max 1, originally designed for running, has now become a classic. On 8 August 2020, the SNKRS app from Nike had its 3 year anniversary. This of course had to be celebrated, which is why Nike came out with the Air Max 1 'Pearl'. 
 
The colour of the sneaker is very light and gives a Summer feeling. The upper of the 'Pearl' consists mainly of TPU material. This makes sure that you can see through some of the panels on the upper. The mudguards that wrap around the entire upper are silver-coloured. The details pay homage to the date, as this date is on the back of the heel. Additionally, the insole is marked with "GOT 'EM". The sneaker is completed by a white midsole and transparent outsole.
