Nike has revived several AM1 models from its archives in 2023, including the Nike Air Max 1 'Chili 2023' which first came out in 2003. There are some differences between the original model and the 2023 version. In the updated version, the upper is a lighter grey shade. The tongue label is predominantly white in the 2023 version instead of red, while the branding on the heel is black. Most of the original colour scheme has been preserved. As with the air unit, the Swoosh is still sheet red. A white sole with black accents finishes off the Nike Air Max 1 'Chili 2023'.
