The Nike Air Max 1 Anniversary 'Aqua' was released in 2017 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Air Max 1. The sneaker features a white mesh material with aqua blue suede overlays on the mud flaps, toe, heel and Swoosh. This is complemented by purple accents on the branding, eyelets and heel tab. The shoe also features a white midsole with a visible Air Max unit in the heel for cushioning and a black rubber outsole for durability and traction.
