New Balance has added a new colorway to their 'Made in America' collection that draws inspiration from the Phoenix Suns' uniform colours. Dark brown and vivid orange colours are combined with deep purple and orange in the New Balance 990v2. The upper of the shoe is a rich shade of purple. This is combined with a panel line made of brown suede leather. The side's white 'N' emblem is outlined in bright orange to highlight the inner lining. On top of that, the heel, midsole, and outsole all have neutral colours.
