The 1906 was introduced by New Balance in 2009 to commemorate the year the company was founded. It has now become a cultural symbol in and of itself, generating waves in fashion, music, sports, and technology. 

The latest colorway is the 'Angora,' which has a largely white upper with splashes of blue, pink, and pastel yellow on the TPU cage and outsole for a subtle look with a pop of colour.
