Introducing the adidas Tyshawn

The adidas Tyshawn, first released in 2019, is the signature skate shoe of Bronx-born pro skater Tyshawn Jones, designed in collaboration with adidas Skateboarding.

Blending influences from both basketball and skate culture, the shoe delivers a strong mix of performance and style - built tough enough to handle urban skating while maintaining a clean, off-board aesthetic. Key functional details include a reinforced Adituff toe for abrasion resistance, an EVA midsole for impact protection, and a vulcanised wrap that enhances boardfeel and durability. For comfort, the design incorporates a memory-foam tongue and moulded sockliner for a cushioned, adaptive fit.

The Tyshawn line has since evolved with new iterations (like the low-cut version and Tyshawn II) introducing upgrades such as LIGHTSTRIKE cushioning, dual-layer toe caps, added breathability, and design touches that pay homage to both Tyshawn’s roots and adidas’s skateboarding legacy.
