The adidas FYW S-97 is a modern reinterpretation of the 1997 EQT Salvation, originally part of the brand’s Feet You Wear (FYW) series - a pioneering concept developed by Frampton Ellis to replicate the natural shape and movement of the human foot.
This philosophy produced a low-profile, contoured sole that enhances both stability and comfort. Staying true to its heritage, the 2019 FYW S-97 features a mesh upper, leather overlays, and a distinctive jagged midsole. Contemporary updates include an EVA midsole with an Adiprene insert for added cushioning and a durable rubber outsole inspired by Japanese tabi socks, providing excellent traction and grip.
