The Air Jordan 1 OG 'Patent Bred' was released in 2022 and hints at its predecessor 'Bred'. Bred is an OG colorway that has been brought back to the Air Jordan 1 model several times in the past. In 1985, the Air Jordan 1 was first released in the 'Bred' colorway, which combines the colours red and black.

In 2022 the colorway was updated and the upper was made of patent leather. This leather has a shiny finish and gives the sneaker a playful look. In the past, Nike has used patent leather on different models. The Patent Bred was no surprise for the Nike enthusiasts among us.

The upper is red and the overlays are black. The nose is red and the Swoosh on the middle panel shares the red colour. On the heel the Wing logo is printed in black.

The colorway also comes in GS, PS, TD and Baby sizing.
