The Nike Terminator Low Liberte is here to prove that less is more

Drenched in timeless minimalism, the Nike Terminator Low Liberte is the newest OG revival of the Nike Terminator Low. Differing slightly from the colourways we’ve seen so far (Georgetown and Brown Croc), the Liberte flaunts a muted palette that makes for a class pair of Summer kicks.

Debuting during the basketball golden age of the 80s, the Nike Terminator originally entered the market as a high-top basketball sneaker. Visually referencing other popular Nike silhouettes at the time, such as the Air Force 1 and Nike Dunk, the Terminator quickly gained a secured place in the hearts of basketball culture and sneaker communities alike, through durable appeal and an iconic look. The Nike Terminator Low Liberte perfectly captures this nostalgia, by giving us a silhouette that doesn’t need to shout to be respected.

The main body of the sneaker is composed of leather and distressed suede, highlighting low profile hues of coconut milk, wolf grey and off-white. The contrast of varied textiles flaunts the simple-but-effective dynamic that this sneaker brings to life, a feel that is carried throughout each design element. Even the classic NIKE branding encounters a subtle reimagining, embossed delicately on each suede heel. ‘Liberte’ sits proudly on the woven tongue and insole, accompanied with a graceful olive branch embellishment.
