South Korean label The Museum Visitor is teaming up with ASICS to give the GEL-KAYANO 14 a fresh bold new look. Known for its contemporary art-inspired fashion, The Museum Visitor has collaborated with brands like Vans and FILA before. Now, in 2024, they’re back with ASICS to release a special pack of GEL-KAYANO 14s, which definitely can’t be missed.
The new collection arrives across three stealthy colourways of blue, black, and gold. Flaunting a gradient effect and bold extended tongue that folds over the laces, these kicks proudly boast the ASICS logo in all of its glory, which of course, takes centre stage. Adopting a white base, the blue and gold versions exude a clean appeal, whilst the black pair dons a grey base, each expressing shiny silver accents.
Leather overlays on the toe, mid-foot, and heel add to the flair of the design, with The Museum Visitor’s branding on the lateral heel. Shifting from lighter to darker shades towards the heel, the ASICS Tiger Stripe logo on the mid-foot keeps the gradient vibe going strong. Lastly, the insoles sport split branding for ASICS and The Museum Visitor on the right and left shoes, reaffirming this iconic collab.
These stylish kicks are dropping on 25TH JULY 2024 via ASICS Korea, with a global launch set for 16TH AUGUST 2024 at SELECT RETAILERS. If you’re keen to grab a pair, be sure to keep an eye on The Drop Date release calendar.
