The Basement and New Balance Reunite for the 1906R

UPDATE 19/09/24: If there’s one collaboration that always guarantees mouths talking, it’s The Basement and New Balance – who are proving this statement true yet again with their upcoming 1906R endeavour. Keeping the bar high after their last joint venture in 2022, the alliance now has some fresh heat on offer across two stealthy colourways. 

Over the past decade, London-based label The Basement – or ‘BSMNT’ – has grown to be one of the City’s streetwear community gems, cultivating a strong collective of diverse, trendy individuals. Fine-tuned to work seamlessly with the pieces in your wardrobe, these kicks are a no-brainer for a minimal yet effective ‘fit.

The first colourway of the pair, ‘Day Chrome’ (M1906RBT), arrives SUNDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 2024, with ‘Night Chrome’ (M1906RBT) following the week after from the 29TH SEP. The Pack will be available to shop at BSMNT STORE & SELECT RETAILERS. Shop below!

ORIGINAL ARTICLE 28/05/24: The Basement and New Balance are back with another exciting collab, dropping the 1906R model in 2024. Following their hit partnership in 2022, which gave us three 2002R colourways, this new release is again set to combine the best of both brands.

A Closer Look at the The Basement x New Balance 1906R…

The New Balance 1906R is mega hot right now in 2024. This sneaker has been in cahoots with big names like Aimé Leon Dore, Comme des Garçons, and GANNI. And guess what? We’re now getting a sneak peek at The Basement and New Balance teaming up on the 1906R model too.

The Basement is bringing us two fresh colourways of the 1906R. In the first images that appeared we can see one colourway with slick metallic silver accents and another in a stylish grey and black mix.

Both versions feature breathable mesh and high-quality leather, ensuring they’re as comfy as they are stylish. You’ll find ‘BSMT’ on the lateral forefoot, plus some unique branding on the heel tabs and tongue badges. The adjustable lace toggles and the iconic two-tone sole complete the look.
