The Day of Love may have been and gone, but that’s not stopping the Swoosh from dropping some V Day heat. Working atop a breathable off-white mesh base, a pleasant vanilla hue takes shape in leather overlays. A chocolatey mudguard creates a complimentary contrast, also reflected within the tongue badge, outer and insole for a grounding edge. Elsewhere, a maroon tone subtly adopts various details, decorating the heel branding and Air unit. Our personal favourite has to be the heart emblem debossed into the sidewalls, reminding us of the sneakers’ love-coded essence.

The Swoosh is no stranger to adding a dash of spice to its most iconic silhouettes. This time, it’s the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Volt Chili’ that’s facing the heat, injected with the brand’s signature ‘Volt’ seasoning. Flexing a clean palette grounded by hues of white, grey and black, the vibrant accents speak entirely for themselves. Entering at the Swoosh and outer toe, the fiery shade sets the tone of the upper – supported by electric detailing within the tongue badge, eyelets, heel branding and Air unit. This iteration seamlessly demands attention, without even trying.

Resparking a collaborative relationship that’s no stranger to breaking the internet, LA creative Veneda Carter is back with a selection of premium Timberland’s. The capsule is packed with the designer’s signature aesthetic, but there was one shoe that really caught our eye. Revisiting the classic 6-Inch glossy Boot, this updated iteration is flooded with a blacked-out appeal. Donning a patent exterior that takes notes from Scandinavian minimalism, these kicks utilise waterproof leather and Primaloft ECO insulation to keep your feet warm and dry. Premium construction, premium steez.

A popular choice for those who like a stealthy runner with allllll the y2k trimmings, the Zoom Vomero goes down a treat with consumers. Now dropping in a neutral colourway, the palette keeps things relatively simple; ideal for the intricate composition. Showcasing hues of ‘Light Orewood Brown’ and ‘Sail’ across the upper, suede and leather overlays help to create an elaborate aesthetic. Underfoot, a gum ‘Brown’ outer invites a pleasant contrast, grounding the runner with increased traction and durability.

Flooded in a delicious array of Chocolatey suedes, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Dusted Clay’ is a visual masterpiece. Decked out in an autumnal persona, ‘Cacao Wow’ adopts the soft overlays, as well as the ankle padding, Swoosh and hangtag. The brown hue sets the tone for ‘Burnt Sunrise’ to enter at the outer, collar and heel for aesthetically pleasing colour blocking that just gets it right. Wrapped up in a coordinating dust bag for that final premium touch, this shoe gets the thumbs up from us.

If you’re a connoisseur of Jordan 4’s, then you’re in for a treat on Saturday. Opting for a light and airy palette that’s decorated with the midas touch, this sophisticated offering feels effortlessly regal. Championing a monochromatic essence, ‘Sail’ dominates the upper, allowing the ‘Metallic Gold’ eyelets to capture attention. This luxurious touch is also evident within the insole branding and underfoot Jumpman emblem, maintaining a classy and luxe aesthetic. Everything the Jordan 4 touches turns to gold!

With a name like ‘Museum Masterpiece’, this shoe is sure to be a gem. And so, it is. Exploring texture and dimension within this Air Max 1 ‘86 OG, the outcome reveals a contemporary take on the retro. Truly museum worthy! Expressing a marbled finish across the leather upper, this special iteration inserts pops of suede within the Swoosh and tongue tag. The textured vibe continues into the midsole, boasting a worn and distressed feel. Take a peek at the inner, and you’ll find some bang-on-theme iconography, reading ‘Please Do Not Step on The Art’ within the right shoe. On the left foot, Nike are keeping things wholesome, with a tribute to the man who started it all, Tinker Hatfield.
