Keeping track of sneaker releases can be tricky at the best of times, but as the OG’s in Organising The Chaos, we’ve made it simple for you. Below is a list of the hottest drops this week, so you don’t take any L’s! Check our newsfeed every Monday for an updated round up.
Love might not be in the air just yet, but the Nike Air Max 1 Valentine’s Day 2024 definitely is. Utilising the Tinker Hatfield OG as a canvas, this themed iteration resembles Neapolitan ice cream – displaying a deliciously toned palette. Working atop a breathable off-white mesh base, a pleasant vanilla hue takes shape in leather overlays. Chocolatey segments invite a complementary contrast, reflected within the tongue badge, outer and insole for a grounding edge. Bringing the strawberry flair that no Neapolitan is complete without, the Swoosh, tongue logo and front outer take on a pink shade. Adorned with a miniature Swoosh centred heart emblem gracing lateral sidewall, it really is love at first sight!

Last V Day, the annually-themed Dunk Low opted for a smooth blend of chocolate brown and baby pink hues -, quite contrary to what Nike have been cooking this year. Flaunting a sweet exterior of dusty pink, white and deep red hues, the kicks take a less-is-more approach to the amorousness holiday. Subtly-distressed suede floods the pink overlays, situated atop the clean and pristine leather base. Adopting a carmine-resembling shade within the Swoosh, tongue branding and insole the colour contrast feels refreshingly neat. We’re certainly feeling the love for this one.

The Year of the Dragon is truly alive within the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Kicking things off, the upper sports a ‘Sail’ leather base, complimenting ‘Oil Green’ scale overlays that span from the mudguard to the heel counter. A shimmery red Swoosh accentuates the laces, tongue tag and the embroidered Wings logo within the heel. Injecting an element of royalty into the silhouette, a gold hue chimes in at the heel tab and tongue branding, whilst silver adorns the lining and semi-translucent outsole.

Black (1203A413-001) / Wood Crepe (1203A413-201) / Slate Grey (1203A413-021)
Deriving from the EARTHENWARE Pack, this ASICS Gel-1130 NS takes visual inspiration from neutral, earthy elements. Working across three refined palettes of ‘Black’, ‘Wood Crepe’ and ‘Slate Grey’, these technical kicks utilise a performance-coded exterior for a stealthy look. Expressing features such as rip-stop underlays and no-sew reinforcements, you’re ready to face whatever the day might throw at you. From conquering the track to the streets, the ASICS Gel-11 has your back (- or, feet).
Next up, we have a solid SB Dunk Low offering, landing in a Court Purple colourway. It doesn’t get sleeker than an entirely leather upper, divided into segments of black and crisp white. Predominant hits of purple asserts dominance within the heel overlay, rubber outsole and insole, inserting the perfect amount of depth and vibrance whilst sustaining the silhouette’s cool persona. As with all of the Swoosh’s skate division, a padded tongue and Zoom Air unit combo provides the ultimate comfort alliance for ease on-the-go.

Leading with the Yellow Ochre palette that we’ve grown to associate with the Nike/Jordan Brand, we’re getting a new member of the family tree in the latest Air Jordan 6. Boasting a colour blocking arrangement akin to that of the ‘Carmine’ colourway, this Jumpman offering expresses the striking hue throughout the base. Snowy tumbled leather overlays create a clean feel, situated against black detailing within the lower, tongue and heel. Combining heritage and steez, this might just be the newest edition to your roster.

SoulGoods has once again proven its worth with the design of its reinterpretation of Jordan Brand’s classic 90s sneaker, the Air Ship! ‘Prove Yourself’ is the name given to the inspirational colourway. It features grey on the sole and rough grey suede on the mudguard. Furthermore, an embroidered ‘5’ graces the lateral heel, while SoulGoods’ ‘Soul Tiger’ motif dots the collar. The mesh toe box and suede upper are adorned with a rich brown hue. In addition, the laces, lining, and Nike Air branding are all black, while ‘Prove Yourself’ embroidery is found on the shoe’s interior in brown. It’s design celebrates Chinese people’s resilience and hard work, as well as the unique perspective and style of a new generation. The sneaker also serves as inspiration for the next gen to prove themselves and achieve their dreams.
